Among the many things that i worried last time when iam thinking of living overseas...far away from our continent is that how on earth i can survive without all my fav food??...fyi i can dream at night missing my brother laksa at my hometown and Ikan Pekasam pelam, masak lemak pisang muda, asam keladi, cencaluk, tapai pulut, rendang pucuk kayu, mee kuah parit bobby...n the list go on...huhuhuhu....miss it soo much....i can cook al of that but..the taste will not be same as my brother n sister own cooking...hehhhee...ok i admit iam adik manja ok..sattle...tp they are the one yg pampared me...so tak salah kan??...hehhee...among the many2 reason why every time i got holiday..my destination gonna be my kampung instead of other places...hahhahaa...there no place like home :P
Ok lets get to the point of posting this post...opening giler meleret...wanna talk about tempe...reason y i wanna talk about it...sbb 2 days ago my housemate got homemade tempe send from New Castle my by one of future doctor in microb...giler ko nak buat tempe PHD student ok...makngah aku kat Johor sure find its funny....dia buat menatang tu pejam mata je ok...high school pun tak habis...but i bet she's very intelligent if given opportunity...ok sebelum aku lari tajuk...sambung story tempe...sedap la sbb dia guna organic beans..but utk org yg tahu...the parameter of nak tahu tempe tu sedap tak...is the sebyk mana kulat tu cover the beans...sadly the one we got tak berkulat sgt...so tak la tempe tu dpt 5 star dari aku....tp alhamdulillah la at least ade kan???
So aku pun google and tgk utube...among the many ways yg i used if i miss Malaysian food...dpt tgk kat utube pun jadi la...kesian kan???...hahahaha...amazingly tempe is not something that alien at this part of continent...amazingly rupanya they know about it...and its the main source of protien for the vegan here...sgt hype la tempe rupanya....sbb time kat malaysia aku selalu kena perli...girls why r u eating that thing...... soo kampung....hahahaa...selalunya that person mmg tak rapat dgn aku...sbb mgg ko cr pasal namanya tu...definately kena smash la...hello iam a kampung girl so what???..sampai ke bulan pun aku still akan makan benda2 kampung ni ok...hahhaa...nahhh kau ambik tempe is a hype food kat London n US ok...nak tahu how much???...400 grms...GBP3.50....RM18.50 ok!!!!...sakit perut aku nak beli yesterday...kalu kat malaysia silap haribulan 1 guni aku leh dapat....hahhahaa....makngah aku leh kaya buat menatang ni kalu dtg sini...:P
But they call wit H....tempeh...instead of tempe...maybe lidah mat saleh..suka benor menambah2 words....hahaaa...funny....the one that i buy amazingly made from???...ce teka...amazingly its from Belgium...hahaa...kelakar sungguh...ok dah lapar plak bila sebut...lets masak...bon appatite :)
